Femme Au Collier Jaune
Here, Picasso depicts Françoise Gilot, who was among Picasso’s lovers and the mother of two of his children. In this work, Gilot appears to have a beauty mark on her cheek, which is not actually a beauty mark but a cigarette burn that was the result of an argument between Gilot and Picasso. The geometric work features a black background and an elongated neck. and circular face. Picasso uses thick black lines to outline different features.
